Bridges

For unsightly gaps

Dental bridges are a natural-looking way to fill in the gaps left by one or more missing teeth. Several types of dental bridge are available, but they usually consist of a false tooth located between two crowns, which slot over the teeth either side of a gap. These can be made from porcelain fused to metal or be all-ceramic.

If you have lost a number of teeth, bridges can be attached to dental implants, helping to fill larger gaps. As well as restoring your smile, bridges can improve eating and speaking, and help keep your existing teeth in place.

To ensure your bridge lasts as long as possible, it is very important to maintain good oral hygiene and clean the area underneath the false tooth. It’s also wise to treat a bridge with a certain amount of care, so avoid biting down on very hard foods.
